A 3-month study schedule for the Civil FE exam

It worked for me!

I created this three-month study schedule when I first started to study for the Civil FE because I wasn’t able to find anything like it online. I came across questions online constantly like, “How long should I study for the FE exam for?” People would claim to have studied anywhere from a few hours before the exam, to 300 hours in preparation for it; neither of which was realistic for me.

After studying for the Civil FE and passing it, I shared my schedule with others who also greatly benefited from it. This schedule is what worked best for me, and with a three-month time frame, was realistic. I was 5 years out of college, married with two kids, and in the process of buying a house. Needless to say, I had a lot going on and was nervous about studying again; but I was still able to maintain my study schedule.

The schedule is strategically structured with thought and reasoning behind it. I’ll include some guidelines and helpful tips & hints as well. This is not guaranteed to have you pass the Civil FE, only you can put in the work and effort to make that happen; but for the price of a burrito, you can’t go wrong! This is strictly a study schedule and does not contain any practice problems or study material.
